Today I had to remake a story called a Summery Saturday Morning on minecraft. It was really fun and the most challenging part about it was the building. It was a big success and I hope I can do more of these minecraft tasks in the future.

Today I did a challenge on minecraft. The challenge was to make a pollinating garden for the bees.
I really enjoyed creating the pollinating garden for the bees. The most challenging part about it was that the hoed grass kept growing back. Have you ever done a challenge in minecraft education before.
Yay I just got my second reward! I got another certificate. I got this certificate for doing coding again. It was fun doing the coding task. This is my second certificate for coding.
Today I achieved a reward on Minecraft Education Edition for the first time. I got a certificate.
The certificate was a reward for completing a coding activity. I enjoyed this coding activity and hope I can
do more of them in the future.

As you know school has ended for the year and I have been doing some activities since school ended.
I wanted to tell you what I have been doing. The first thing I did when school ended was spend time with my family and go for a drive on the beach with my dad's Rav - 4. We went for a swim when suddenly a massive wave came crashing towards us and it threw us onto the shore. we tumbled over the rock pool and on to the beach. That's when we decided to leave. I had a long scratch on my back and the left side of my right leg. To cut this long story short we went to Auckland and went to see my nanna and my uncles, my aunties and cousins. We spent two nights in Auckland before we came back home to Kaitaia. That's some activities that I've been doing. I loved telling you about them. Thank you for listening.

Today I'm writing about my goals I want to achieve in this term. So my first goal I want to achieve in literacy is getting better at my punctuation. I probably will practice this my parents and my teacher. My second goal is gonna be about maths so my goal is to get better at my 8x 7x and 6x time tables. I will maybe practice this with my parents and teacher.

On Friday week 9 term 3 my school had a cross country day. Cross country is a day where you have to run around your school. It all depends on the age you were at the start of the year. If you were 9 you had to do 5 laps around the school, if you were 10 at the start of the year you had to do 5 laps also, etc.
The other day me and my siblings started to shrink causing to a sticky, white goo that was spreading around my neighbor hood town. We kept shrinking until we were the size of a flee. Now we were like a little club literally. WERE MINUSCULE! my younger brother cyril roared. We were stranded in the middle of a fluffy, thick carpet. We did’nt hesitate to look around. We started to get resources to get out of the carpet. We found the calendar hidden in the thick brissils of the carpet and a knob that fell of the washing machine.

My learning today was about perimeter word problems and comparing the two three little pigs stories. It does sound boring but I'm sure it's really fun. My favourite part of learning today was the perimeter word problems. I liked them because they were a challenge for me and I needed some practice on perimeters anyway. I know what your thinking perimeters are hard well you might believe me but there not. You just have to measure how long or how big a room is or you could measure a desk probably so yeah easy peasy. I also think I improved on showing my working when I was doing the perimeters. I sort of liked the three little pig task for reading but not as much as the maths. So that's all the learning I did today anyway that's all bye. This Is My Room

Today at kiwiCan we started off playing this game called bear, salmon, mosquito it is similar to rock, paper, scissors. The aim of the game is to win against the other team by doing actions. The actions are bear, salmon or mosquito so bear beats salmon, salmon beats mosquito and mosquito beats bear. In this game you and your team have to decide witch action to choose from. You can either choose bear, salmon or mosquito.
Everyone had to do the same action. If there was any sign of confusion or someone doing the wrong action your team loses.

Today we had my dad Rob Metzger at school today. So anyway today for our reading task we did something called Newspaper Bingo it was hard, confusing and frustrating but when I got it it was EASY! Today for kiwi can we played some games called traffic light, walk, jump, stop, go and loads more the games were a bit hard to understand but they were easy when I understood. I'm gonna tell you now how to play traffic light someone says red light or green light and you have to stop on red light then you have to go on green light and walk on orange light that is all you need to know about gamy games.
What Did I Enjoy? I enjoyed having breaks at the end of the games.

At Waitangi we first took of our shoes and put our bags on the table next we had a talk to one of the workers called Monica. Later on we went outside and had a look at the war canoes then we went back. We had morning tea. We had another talk about coding this time then we coded for a little while maybe about twenty minutes. Suddenly Monica said STOP! We are having lunch. While we were having lunch me and one of my friends called Xavier had a little play around with this toy that he brought they were called Chatter Rings. I suddenly mention that I've seen them before at a circus. We had one last trip to the Museum and back then we left. I felt the excitement fade away it was fun at Waitangi that is why I never wanted to leave.
what did you enjoy? I enjoyed going on the walks and the trips.
what did I find interesting? I found interesting that some of the chiefs at the signing of the treaty tried to convince the people not to sign the treaty.
