My Cross Country Day

 On Friday week 9 term 3 my school had a cross country day. Cross country is a day where you have to run around your school. It all depends on the age you were at the start of the year. If you were 9 you had to do 5 laps around the school, if you were 10 at the start of the year you had to do 5 laps also, etc.

The Minuscule World

The other day me and my siblings started to shrink causing to a sticky, white goo that was spreading around my neighbor hood town. We kept shrinking until we were the size of a flee. Now we were like a little club literally. WERE MINUSCULE! my younger brother cyril roared. We were stranded in the middle of a fluffy, thick carpet. We did’nt hesitate to look around. We started to get resources to get out of the carpet. We found the calendar hidden in the thick brissils of the carpet and a knob that fell of the washing machine.

Today I learnt about square centimetres, square inches, square meters, square yards and square miles. area is the space inside a shape and the perimeter is the distance around the shape. Here is a link to my work from today. Square inches

Perimeter People Come Have Fun

W.A.L.T measure sides of shapes and find out the perimeters of different shapes. 

My learning today was about perimeter word problems and comparing the two three little pigs stories. It does sound boring but I'm sure it's really fun. My favourite part of learning today was the perimeter word problems. I liked them because they were a challenge for me and I needed some practice on perimeters anyway. I know what your thinking perimeters are hard well you might believe me but there not. You just have to measure how long or how big a room is or you could measure a desk probably so yeah easy peasy.  I also think I improved on showing my working when I was doing the perimeters. I sort of liked the three little pig task for reading but not as much as the maths. So that's all the learning I did today anyway that's all bye. This Is My Room 

   

What I Have Learnt In Lockdown

In lockdown I have learnt a lot of things like perimeters, how to use speech marks and home made science experiments. So it's been pretty fun with all this work. It does sound boring but I assure you its fun. This is one of my science experiments down below. This experiment was called snow fluff. The ingredients to make the snow fluff were shaving cream, blue or any colour food colouring personally I like blue and the last ingredient is corn starch.
