The story about Yusra Madini

Yusra Madini is a refugee, an Olympic athlete and a UNHCR  goodwill Ambassador. During her flight from Syria she made the dangerous sea crossing between Turkey and Greece. At one point swimming for her life when the boats motor failed. Now she is visiting refugees in Sicily. The women in this temporary reception area are from Nigeria, Eritrir, Guinea and cote d'lvoire. They made the perilous boat journey from Libya across the Mediterranean sea.

    Hi Robert,
    This is a great description of her life and her journey. I can only imagine how scary it must have been crossing the ocean and it just shows how brave she is and that people can do great things no matter where they were brought up. Are there any other interesting facts you learned about her?
