Our Back Yard Gym.

Each day me and my dad ride our bikes on the back lawn then after we do some weight lifting. I like the weight lifting because I like getting stronger and fitter every day. It is really amazing how you can't see when you're growing but you're growing every minute or two. Here is a video of us doing our shoulder presses with rocks.

My Bike ride with my dad.

This is a video of my afternoon on Friday 27th March, of me and my dad riding our bikes for exercise on our massive back lawn. Me and my dad loved the bike ride I wished we could do it ten more times why I thought that was because I wanted to get fitter. We loved it my dad said it was so cool, sick and extreme. And we also did weight lifting but it was way more extreme than the bike ride.

My Zentangle Patterned Shark.

W.A.L.T we are learning to do zentangle art on animals.

First we had to trace the animal on another piece of paper using the light on the window to see where to trace.

Next we had to draw some zentangle designs on the animals.

The third step was to trace over the zentangle patterns that i did with pencil with marker.

Next just cut the animal out. The second to last step is to make a back ground and die it.

Then glue the animal on the back ground you created.

W.A.L.T  Learning to  solve subtraction problems by going back through 10.

I am in the Triangles math group and for the last few days we have been learning how to go back through a 10. This is when you take away the ones column, and then take away the remaining number.
The picture to your right shows you how to do this.

My Explanation writing about Bees.

Did you know that bees have to visit 2 million flowers to create only 1 pound of honey?



Did you also know that these bees work harder than humans to make honey? Did you also know that bees work harder than humans to make honey? Because honey is really popular in NZ

Honey is very expensive in NZ and across the globe. How the bees collect the honey is they go around the globe and they have a straw like tongue to suck the nectar out of the flowers

They fly back to the hive and carry the honey in their stomachs



They make honey by mixing the nectar in their stomach with proteins which turns it into honey then they spit the honey in each others mouths to make it sticky. Next they put it in a cone and cover it with wax. The wax keeps it clean.

One Of My Hobbies.

One hobby that I like is sailing. I like sailing with my dad. I really like sailing because it is really fun getting wet. Me and my dad go sailing only sometimes. And we go sailing in the beautiful Samoa.

His greatest hobby is rapping with his friends and making music he loves rapping because it inspires him to make music. He has 4 kids and 8 family members in his life. He started rapping in 6th grade. His wife name is shante
