New Maths strategy 


W.A.L.T  Learning to  solve subtraction problems by going back through 10.

I am in the Triangles math group and for the last few days we have been learning how to go back through a 10. This is when you take away the ones column, and then take away the remaining number.
The picture to your right shows you how to do this.

36 - 8 =
36 - 6 = 30 - 2 = 28
