Honey is very expensive in NZ and across the globe. How the bees collect the honey is they go around the globe and they have a straw like tongue to suck the nectar out of the flowers
They fly back to the hive and carry the honey in their stomachs
They make honey by mixing the nectar in their stomach with proteins which turns it into honey then they spit the honey in each others mouths to make it sticky. Next they put it in a cone and cover it with wax. The wax keeps it clean.
